Hennepin Baptist Church

Roger Sims has been serving the Hennepin Baptist Church since May 2006.

He graduated Pernell School in 1974 and completed a degree in Religion at Oklahoma Baptist University in 1978.

Roger was ordained as a deacon in the Countyline Baptist church and was baptized and licensed into the ministry at Midway Baptist Church in the Arbuckle Association. He became a pastor for the Alma Baptist Church and was ordained as a minister there.  He served at Alma from April 1995 to May 2006.

Roger and his wife Karen were married in 1979 and have two daughters, Carrie and Kelsie. He is a bivocational pastor and in addition to pastoring at the Hennepin Baptist Church he also works as an oilfield foreman for Mack Energy Company.
